Hall of Residence 1

PDPM IIITDM is a residential institute and it is compulsory for all students to stay inside-campus. At present there are three hostels, Hall-1, Hall-3 and Hall-4. Hall-1 has a residential capacity of 300 UG and 100 PG students (including Master's and Doctoral students).The hostel rooms are internet enabled through WiFi facility. Students can spend their leisure time in the Reading Room which is equipped with newspapers and magazines. Sports and other recreational facilities are also available. Night canteens (upto 01:00 AM) within the hostel premises facilitate the dietary requirements of the students after the normal dining hours. Regular attendance is taken by biometric system. Hall-1 has a Hall Executive Committee which is an advisory body comprising selected student representatives as its members, to provide suggestions for the betterment of hostel life with the help of wardens. The hostel campus is the nice place to be at rest and peace when not involved elsewhere in some other pursuit of life which may not include academics.
